Easy steps to rank first on Google Search

Here’s how to achieve the highest rank on Google Search by boosting your brand visibility. Google ranking may take a longer amount of time, anywhere between a few days and several weeks or even longer, depending on many factors. New websites typically take longer for content to be recorded and ranked than established websites. Startup sites on new domains may take several months to start ranking, while sites with a long history of delivering quality content may see new posts rank within days.

What components is Google ranking dependent on?

Content quality: It is not simply talking about the words in your website content when we talk about the quality of the content. It comes down to the comprehensive quality of your website. And that covers every detail, including the design and layout. The way content is presented on your website, the way graphics are included, and the way you handle speed of those things play an important part there.

As it happens, Google evaluates the content quality of the page overall, taking into account factors like:

Backlinks: In search engines’ view point, backlinks are the base of a website’s authority and credibility. In fact, these are votes from several websites. Search engines are informed by each of these votes that “This content is valuable, credible, and useful.” Therefore, the more of these “votes” you have, the higher Google and other search engines will rank your website.

Mobile-friendliness: Indeed, one of the elements used to determine a search engine’s ranking on Google is its mobile friendliness. Google determines if a webpage is mobile-friendly by using the mobile-friendly test. A page is considered mobile-friendly and might show up higher in search results on mobile devices if it passes the test.

Google employs a variety of signals, including the following, to assess a page’s mobile friendliness. On a small screen, the website should be readable without the need to zoom in or scroll horizontally. The fonts should be readable with ease. Links on a touch screen should be spaced apart enough to allow for easy tapping. It is recommended that images be optimized for smaller screen sizes and not overly huge.

Page performance: As of April 2023, page speed is still a recognized ranking element for Google’s search results. While it might not always have a significant effect, this signal is taken into consideration when evaluating the page experience. Even if page speed is still important for the user experience, if the content is poor, it could not have a direct impact on search rankings. As per Google, the purpose continues to be the most important ranking criteria. Speed is a component of page experience, which is significant since it affects a user’s ability to interact with your website.

Two steps Google finds and ranks content:

Crawling: Google finds and keeps a list of Web pages. Googlebot is a program that uses an algorithm to crawl pages, carefully controlling its speed so as not to saturate websites. Not every page that is detected is crawled; some are restricted by the owner of the website or demand logins. Google renders the website and runs JavaScript while crawling to make sure all applicable material is shown.

Indexing: During indexing, Google determines if a page is a duplicate or the “real” version of this piece of content. The valid page that appears in search results. Google initially groups related pages and then chooses the best representative one. Other pages in the group may be displayed under certain circumstances, such as for mobile users.

The method goes as follows:

Googlebot creates a picture using the downloaded text, photos, HTML, and CSS.

Googlebot performs the detected JavaScript, which is then rendered as HTML.

GoogleBot creates a full picture of the page.

Googlebot indexes the page (when possible and Google wants it to).
